These elegant candlesticks, designed by Van Day Truex (1904-79), Head of Design for Tiffany's in the 1950s and 60’s. Inspired by nature to resemble scabrous rock crystal, the prototypes were fabricated by atelier of Archimede Seguso on the Venetian Island of Murano. This pair signed on bottom "TIFFANY & CO.", with JR for Josef Riedel, and "FL WRIGHT FDN 1987" for the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation. They were made by Josef Riedel for Tiffany and come in a Riedel box with "Candleholder" label on side and "Tiffany Made in Austria" turquoise sticker
